In an interview with Mr. Osei, the project delivery coordinator, he explained that since British Council is competing with other institutions for the same services they want to make their services easier for their valued customers so that customers will be able to do what they came to do. Some of the invited guests also commented that they have been bringing their staffs for training and any time they come, they gain some new form of experience.

Good Practice Network Conference

British Council Executives from Accra, the Regional Director of Education (Mr. J.K Onyina), the British Council Director of Sub-Saharan Africa (Mr. Alan Curry) and others came to witness the event.

The programme began with some poems about our culture, abstinence from drugs and the like. It was then followed by a sketch about keeping clean. Some pupils and students shared and demonstrated their experiences with their colleagues on global school partnership.

Ghana Celebrates Farmers

The award ceremony will be held at Somanya in the eastern region of Ghana. The minister of Food and Agriculture, Mr Kwesi Ahwoi said during the launch of fundraising towards the celebration that, the day is not to make merry and present prizes only, but also to express key policies relevant to the agric sector and showcase its performance.

The day is marked as a national holiday because more than 70% of Ghanaians are subsistence farmers. Also 100% of Ghanaians in one way or the other depend on these farmers for their food.
