Counsellor Nikabou Lantame is an educational consultant. He formally worked as a school Head & Head of Boarding, a CAIE Direct Administrator, Exams Coordinator and a Cambridge Educator with The Hilltop International British School ( formally The Hilltop International Science College).
He also consulted and still consults for British Council , Ridge School and Angel Educational Complex as an oral Assessor (Cambridge examiner ) for IGCSE / O' Level & A level French language .
He has 23 years combined teaching experience of the Ghanaian and the Cambridge System of Education. His specialities with the Cambridge system are Cambridge Lower & Upper Secondary & Cambridge Advanced. He is also a Cambridge IGCSE French assessor and a social media Certified Manager. He holds an MBA in Research in Education from NIBM, India, and a Bachelor of Christian(Theology) Education ,through the Seminary Education Extension from the Philippines Baptist Theological Seminary.
Both at the undergraduate and Master's levels , he passed with a Grade A score.
He holds a double certification in counselling ( nouthetic or pastoral & academic) as a counsellor hence his title .
Counsellor Lantame has also trained as a journalist with the London School of Journalism, United Kingdom where he read Journalism and newswriting with mentor as Ken Ashton, an award-winning British media personality .
He has certifications in Advanced French language (CCIP Paris), Tropical Agriculture (Kumasi Tropical Institute of Tropical),
Teaching for success, understanding SEN, Understanding Lesson Management 1 & 2, a reflective teacher, Peer Observation, Child Protection Awareness, Safeguarding and Information Management from British Council PSGN.
He has undergone other trainings such as Customer Relation Management (CRM), Social Media Marketing (SMM) and effective Leadership from HP.
He is a member Translator of the Emmanuel TV Global Translation Project. He completed Alison Publisher Tool Training Course v2 and Introduction to E-Learning Theory and Practice - Revised.
He received a double award in 2013 from the British Council for his hard-work, dedication and making a difference in the life of students as an educator and from the Management of the Hilltop School as the Best worker for the academic year. In 2017, he also received a Certificate award and Director’s Honour award for his invaluable service to the organization. He won other awards in 2022. He is a fellow Ashoka Changemaker, an Ambassador Pro (Global School Alliance) and a life-time member of the scholarly association, Teaching and Education Research Association (TERA)
During COVID period in 2020 , he served as ESL tutor with Classrooms without walls agency where he taught French and English to Lighthouse Church missionaries and Lady Pastors and their wards.
He was also part of the administration of Woodfield Manor Autism School in Abuakwa.
In,May 2024 , Linkedin recognised him as an expert in the field of education thus his participation in writing articles for the professional global community.
He has partnership with global brands such as Imperial English UK, NCUK, Oracle Academy, Green School Project and recently EPIBM( TP )
Counsellor Lantame speaks French, English and Spanish. He is married and a proud father of two beautiful daughters: Hannora Rhema and Nissi Huldah
